Igor and his car.
Igor got his first drivers licence on Friday and registered his car.
Right now he is out getting the antifreeze, filters and oil changed.

The car is a 1998 Deawoo Matize. There is a factory in Uzbekistan
for these, but his car was built in South Korea for the European market.

He bought it while in the 6 week course on driver training. He said the
hardest part of the lessons was learning the Almaty way of making left
turns. You have to go to the far right side of the road, call a
friend on the mobile phone and play with the radio, while closing your
eyes, screaming and turning left. He hasn't got the screaming
part down yet.

This is his first car, and he is really excited. Yesterday he
drove to a market and all around the city. I joked with him that
he will never walk now, but since the garage he found is about 4 blocks
away, he probably will walk at least that far.
